“We are not in a popularity contest but mandated by the people to demand accountability”, Senator Princess Ncengencenge warns Information Minister Savannah Maziya.

LOBAMBA: Senator Princess Ncengencenge warned Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Minister Savannah Maziya not to take it personal when held accountable by them, as Senators or Parliament.
Speaking in Parliament this week, the Chairperson of the ICT Ministry Senate Portfolio Committee said, she was surprised to read in the media about issues that should be responded to or discussed in Parliament.
“We are mandated by the people to demand accountability, we are not personal against the Minister or in a popularity contest,” the Senator told the ICT Minister.
